Continuity mistake: Before Dominique Bredoteau enters the phonebooth he has a bag in his left hand. When the camera angle changes he transfers it to his right hand as his arms suggest. When he replaces the handset he swaps the bag back to his left hand picking up the tin box with one hand. The camera cuts to an overhead shot of him holding the tin box with both hands not allowing enough time for him to put the bag down. (00:29:35)

Continuity mistake: Lorraine Baines' hands are on her hips, a brief cut to Marty and back and she now holding a cup and saucer at chest height. You could argue she had enough time to pick it back up, but this would seem odd as she's only just put it on the table. (01:43:55)

Continuity mistake: Note the bad cut as the Chinese man is first knelt down looking at the briefcase on top of the mobile safe then a camera angle change shows him stood and looking behind him before positioning himself to jump. Then note how his body angle changes when falling off the top of the cabinet between cuts. Look carefully to the right of the screen and you can see a Perspex sheet wobbling. (01:23:05)

Continuity mistake: George McFly's holding a pen in his right hand, then a cut to a wide shot reveals him not holding a pen as he rests his arm away from his body on the table. Then when the camera cuts back his arm is back in front of him holding the pen. (00:14:10)

Continuity mistake: Lisa drives Sam to the hospital and is met by Dr. Marsh. Dr. Marsh puts on a protective eye mask, before administering a syringe of luminous substance into Sam's arm to stop him projecting fire, but the next scene shows him not wearing the mask then it's back when disposing of the syringe.

Continuity mistake: The Sandy/demon scene. When the cops arrive an officer says they had a report of 'someone at this address firing a shotgun'. But Harold who made the call to the police regarding his neighbour reported a 'suicide' attempt.

Continuity mistake: The Sandy/demon scene. When Roger escorts the cops to the front door, he says 'My gun' and we see the cupboard door under the stairs (containing Sandy's body) is ajar. But when he closes the front door behind the cops the next shot shows the cupboard now closed.

Continuity mistake: When the Sandy/demon tries the blow Rogers brains out he opens the bathroom door containing the 'floating garden tools'. The hedge cutter shoots towards Sandy/demon lopping off her head. Next scene Roger picks up the head placing it in a bin bag, but there's no blood, but there was when he shotgunned a hole in her from an earlier scene.

Continuity mistake: When Roger digs a hole in his backyard to bury the decapitated body of Sandy/demon he's startled by a neighbour who steps out of his swimming pool. Note the inconsistency of the sweat patch size on his t-shirt throughout this whole scene.
