Corrected entry: In the final scene, when Mr. McAlister is describing the one time he has seen Tracy Flick since he left Omaha, he is in Washington, DC. He says he was visiting monuments and was "on his way to the Holocaust Museum." But he is walking north from the White House, up 16th Street. In reality, to be heading for the Holocaust Museum he'd have to be heading south from the White House down 14th Street.

Correction: In the film it's not known really how long McAlister has been in Washington or how well he knows the city. McAlister could have simply not known that route was the way to get there. Even if he did he may have decided to do a few things before heading to the museum.
