Character mistake: Rugal's comment on the American Sports Team when you reach the mid-game point is that they are diamonds in the rough, and that he looks "FOWARD" to see how far they can get.

Character mistake: In the mid-game cutscene with Rugal observing the progress of the team, if you pick the Fatal Fury team Rugal says "Hmmm. So they are the ones who toppled Geese and Klauser." The name of the villain of Fatal Fury 2 that Rugal is referencing is Wolfgang Krauser, with 2 Rs.
