Corrected entry: While the group are trying to figure out how to play Halo without Howard, Leonard jokingly suggests cutting Raj in half. Raj responds, "Oh sure, cut the foreigner in half. There's a billion more where he came from." But Penny is in the room with them, so there's no way he should be able to talk in front of her, or even if he's been drinking, the fact alcohol helps him isn't realised until the next episode, so the fact he can speak with her there should have surprised everyone, including him.

The Holographic Excitation - S6-E5
Corrected entry: Penny observes that the pencil in the hologram is sharp but looking closely at the hologram shows that it's not.
Correction: She doesn't say that about the hologram; she says it about the actual pencil. Which it is, as Leonard puts the pointy end into the table that has equally spaced out holes in it, making it stand upright. The laser can't see below the hole in the table, which is why it doesn't appear to have a pointy end in the hologram.

The Bat Jar Conjecture - S1-E13
Corrected entry: When the guys are practising for the Physics Bowl and they are sitting across from Penny, Leonard is sitting in Sheldon's seat, which Sheldon would never allow.
Correction: In most cases, this would be true. But given the way things were set up, he had to pick a new, temporary spot for the practice. It's likely that their living room setup is too complex to change just for a short amount of time, which is why the practice area was set up as it was. Sheldon chose a spot related to the practice area so he would be comfortable, just like he chose a new spot when the gang went to the north pole.

The Classified Materials Turbulence - S2-E22
Corrected entry: Why would all the astronauts want to do something as dangerous as a spacewalk, particularly one that not only leaves nobody in the International Space Station, but one that has been forbidden by NASA? Because of the smell of waste leaking from the defective toilet? If they can still smell that after they have put on their spacesuits, they are in a lot more trouble than they think. There is no need to leave the station, and they would never, ever do something as stupid as all leaving the ISS at the same time anyway. Besides, do they think the problem of the leaking toilet is going to fix itself while they are all out spacewalking?
Correction: If you can explain away technical errors like this by claiming 'suspension of disbelief' that about half of this site just became redundant. There is a definite error in the episode, identified in this posting : there would never, ever be an occasion where every astronaut would leave the ISS at the same time.
Correction: They never say anything about a smell. We can only assume a worst case-scenario, which in this case, would be their feces floating around inside the station. Of course, even something like this wouldn't put real astronauts outside, but since it's a TV show, it falls into the suspension of belief category.

The Robotic Manipulation - S4-E1
Corrected entry: Howard explains the ease with which he "borrowed" the programmable robot arm thus : "You just have to take it out to your car as if you own it". Howard doesn't have a car - he has a Vespa scooter, and there is no way he could carry the robot arm on that. (While we are on the subject, how does he transport it from Sheldon and Leonard's apartment to his house?).
Correction: His mother very likely has a car (we've heard her say that she's driving back to the grocery store), which Howard very likely used for this occasion.
Deus ex Machina explanations for errors do not invalidate them. Howard does not have a car and at no time does he mention borrowing one from anyone.

The Big Bang Theory (2007)
Corrected entry: In the episodes "The Dumplings Paradox" and "The Pirate Solution" Penny mentions that she has a brother. But in the episode "The Maternal Capacitance", Penny talks to Leonard's mother about how her father had always wanted a boy.
Correction: She has a younger brother. Her father treated her like a boy because the male had not been born yet. And apparently, he kept treating her like a boy.

Corrected entry: Towards the end of this episode, Raj answers a question by buzzing in with Leslie Winkle sat next to him, and he answers. I though he couldn't talk to women or around women? Is this a mistake?

The Precious Fragmentation - S3-E17
Corrected entry: The "ring" prop is alleged to be one used in "The Lord of the Rings" movies. However, the prop used in the TV show has a gold chain, but in the films Frodo's ring is held on a silver chain.
Correction: The chain isn't what's important. It's the ring. The chain is not part of the prop.

Correction: Penny is on the other side of the room and not in the conversation. Raj's comment was an aside to Howard and it can be reasonably concluded that nobody else could hear.
