Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Victoria is at Bella's prom, she should have massacred everyone. (Edward says in the movie, 'When we taste human blood, it starts a frenzy.')

Correction: Corrected several times already. Obviously, vampires CAN control themselves when they wish to. Victoria was there to observe Bella and plot her revenge for James' death. She wasn't there to "start a massacre."

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the scene in the garage when Edward is trying to get Bella away from James, Edward tosses Bella's jacket to Rosalie. The first shot, Rosalie is sitting on the counter next to where Carlise is taking things from a cabinet. On the wider shot, Rosalie is standing without allowing enough time to for her to have changed positions.

stareide

Correction: The whole moving extremely fast issue has been addressed here many times. These vampires move with such inhuman speed, it cannot be seen. The whole family is on alert and is getting ready to flee. Everyone except Edward and Bella moves significantly during this scene.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the ballet studio, when James pulls out the video camera for the first time and James and Bella are talking, when Bella says, "Edward has nothing to do with this," right before that her mouth moves, but she isn't saying anything.

Correction: The audio matches her words. The mouth movement prior to that line was her mouth stammering from her terror at being confronted by James. This isn't a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Edward is talking under the trees in the rain (getting very wet, then totally dry), he also manages to changes clothes in between. In the rain he is wearing exactly the same outfit as in the scene when he jumps down on the car that Bella is washing (when the blue bucket disappears), and then he is back in the grey jacket and dark shirt.

hende

Correction: Corrected twice already - this is a compilation of several days and several scenes, hence the change in clothing.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: During the baseball scene, Rosalie slides into home and Bella calls her out. The next frame shows Emmett saying "Out!" but he makes the gesture for safe.

Correction: So? He was goofing? He was confused on the signs? Not a real mistake - just a character's quirk and mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When they drive up to the baseball field, they are facing the field when they park, but when they get in to leave, the jeep is already turned around.

Correction: When they arrived at the field, the Jeep was pulled so close to the field, it was practically on it. It was moved prior to beginning the game and, apparently, turned around.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the book, before the baseball scene, Edward parks Emmett's jeep outside of the forest and they run the rest of the way so that when the Nomads turn up, there is no time to run back to the car. In the movie, they park the jeep in the same field on which they play baseball, which they would be able to reach easily in a few seconds. Carlisle says there's no time, when really there is time to get back to the car.

Correction: Once again, because the vampires moves so extremely fast, once the Nomadics know of the Cullens' group, it's too late to flee. Not a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene when James realises Bella is a human and the Nomadics and Cullens run into a defensive group stance, Edward is located at the bottom left of the shot. When the camera changes angle he is now at the back of the group.

Correction: The Cullens, as vampires, move extremely fast. Edward moved again to be closer to Bella. Not a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Bella is in the hospital talking to her mom, the T.V. behind her is playing in the background. The Cullens told her mom and dad that she fell down stairs, but in the T.V. behind her, you can see the fire and the Cullens ripping James up and throwing him in there, and you can see Bella pulling the glass out of her leg and you can see Edward really flying into the window. (02:04:05)

Correction: This is not a mistake - it's how the scene is supposed to present itself (and how the book was written, deliberately). Mom doesn't want to know too many details and believes the Cullens because they are so charismatic and convincingly "sold" mom on the stairs story. Mom just wants to know Bella will be ok.

Correction: When? Where? She gets out of her car a lot in this film.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the "edible art" scene where the Twilight book cover is depicted, as Bella and Edward move around the salad bar, the clock on the wall in the background reads 7 o'clock when it is lunchtime.

Correction: The clock did not change during the scene, which means it was broken, which means this is not a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When James is tracking Bella, Edward tells Rosalie to rub the tree with Bella's coat. But then when Edward says, 'He's figured it out', Rosalie does not have Bella's coat on.

Correction: They had been running for quite a while by the time Edward knows James has figured out their diversion -- plenty of time for Rosalie to remove the jacket, which she was carrying at that point.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward rushes in to save Bella from the truck about to crush her, he knocks her down but holds her up, then he lets go and jumps over the back of the cars. In the next scene when Bella is in the Emergency room, Carlisle says, "You hit your head," but she never did.

midorimentality

Correction: Edward and Carlisle both tell Bella she hit her head -- because they want her to believe the "unreal" aspects of the accident and how Edward saved her is because she hit her head. This is not a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the first exterior shot of the hotel in "Scottsdale" (actually California), we see a light-post on the left of the screen with a large yellow banner reading "Scottsdale". In the next two exterior hotel shots, the banner is gone- though it is supposed to be the same day.

Correction: Not a mistake - it could have been taken down "that day". It's only a mistake if it changes immediately from shot to shot.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: During the first killing at the mill, it's daylight. The next shot is very short - it's dark and raining in front of Charlie's house. Then it's morning and Bella is leaving for school (when she slips on the ice). While the rain in evening may be the explanation for morning ice, it seems completely unnecessary, especially considering how short the clip is. It seems more likely that there was supposed to be another evening scene that was later cut. In addition, when the van skids on the ice in the school parking lot, it's after school. Since it's spring in WA (she starts school in March), it is very unlikely that the school parking lot would still be icy in the afternoon. In the book, the van accident occurs before school opens for the day.

Correction: NONE of these are movie mistakes; they are issues of editorial license between the book and the movie. And Washington State in March is almost always close to or below freezing in temperature.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the baseball field when James, Laurent, and Victoria meet the Cullens, they would have been able to smell Bella was human. Rosalie smelled her when she was in the Cullen's house for dinner.

Correction: They DID smell Bella's human scent - that's why James pursued her thereafter.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: Billy Black is supposed to be paralyzed in his legs but when they come to Bella's house the second time, Billy is driving.

Correction: People who are partially paralyzed (in the legs) can drive vehicles with special hand controls. Unless there is more to this mistake that has not been stated, this is not necessarily a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the scene at the dance studio there are many many mirrors. Bella sees James's reflection in the mirrors. But James is a vampire. Vampires historically do not have reflections.

Correction: "Historically" does not apply here - this movie is consistent with the book from which it is derived. These vampires are not like others in literature. This is made very clear in the books - and in the movie as well, with many things being different (reflecting in the sunlight vs. being tortured by sunlight, etc.).
