Major League (1989)

Factual error: In the final game of the season, Indians vs. Yankees, played in Cleveland, in the last inning, the camera shows a picture of the pitcher shot pointing toward the outfield. Off to the side, not really meant to be a part of the scene, is a small, rectangular backlit sign advertising WTMJ4, with the NBC logo. This is an NBC affiliate located in Milwaukee, not Cleveland.

The Revenant (2015)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, when Glass is chasing Fitzgerald, at the top of the hill before they both plummet to the edge of the stream, you can easily see the stream current below moving right to left. Then, after the fight scene, when Glass is presumably returning back up the hill to his horse, you can again see the stream, but this time the current is moving left to right - as if the camera was now filming Glass moving up the hill but now on the other side of the stream.

Factual error: While on the final hole, last round, the camera pans in on one of the men "inside the ropes" with the three golfers. He is wearing glasses, and they contain a greenish reflection of the late afternoon sun. This colored reflection is due to a modern anti-reflective coating put on lenses today to prevent annoying reflective glare. These coatings weren't available until the 1980's and in wide use until the 90's. (00:00:05)
