Corrected entry: When Tommy Boy is on the phone with Michelle, Michelle says that his dad has never sold 1,000 brake pads in Oshkosh. Big Tom could have never sold that much because he died before they started to sell the brake pads.

Correction: It should also be noted the bank loan was to build a new brake pad division and the these were new and revolutionary brake pads. The company always sold brake pads. Big Tom gives Tommy a whole catalog labelled "Brake Pads" to look over, indicating the sale a wide variety of them and at the meeting after Big Tom's death, Tommy says Richard knows more about brake pads than anyone in the room. Again, indicating they've sold brake pads when Big Tom was alive.

Character mistake: When Tommy is being shown his new office the glass reads "Thomas R. Callahan III, " but when Tommy is introduced as the new President of the company he is introduced as "Tom Callahan, Jr." which would be his dad. (00:11:35 - 02:11:55)

Suggested correction: It is possible (probably not common) to be a "III" and a "Jr." If you are named after your father, and he is still alive you are a Junior. If you both share the name with another member up the family tree say your great grandfather, then your father would be a "II" and you would be a "III." But since your father is still alive, you can still go by junior. I've known one person in this situation.
I guess you missed the part of the movie where his father died. He's made the new president because his dad is dead, not alive, negating your main point.
His dad literally just died, and most people don't know the specifics of the naming rules. That would be a character mistake of the person introducing him.

Corrected entry: Tommy talks about how the Callahan factory is the only thing keeping the city (Sandusky, Ohio) alive. I guess he forgot about Cedar Point, one of the most popular theme parks in the world.
Correction: While Tommy was exaggerating the factory's importance to Sandusky, Cedar Point isn't open to the public year round. And tourists who come in to visit the park would only patronize business that the blue collar factory worker wouldn't work at or own, so it doesn't help the average working men of the town.

Corrected entry: When Richard is fixing Tommy's tie, its a clip on. But when they enter the building, it has changed to a regular tie.
Correction: The next scene, it's the same clip on tie. After that is the montage of people saying "no" and in those shots he's wearing a regular tie. But each time it's a different sales call and different tie.

Corrected entry: Tommy is celebrating with his father the recent engagement. First you see them pouring the champagne, then second you hear the champagne bottle being opened. (There is only one bottle of champagne.)
Correction: This isn't how it happens. The cork pops during the transition, then we see one glass already filled and the third glass is being poured. This is a common technique to imply a celebration is occurring and to avoid wasting valuable movie time watching someone pour 3 glasses of champagne.
