Trivia: There are several mid credit scenes in the film setting up characters for the follow up film, Rise of the Supermen. The first being the Superman Clone waking up and breaking out of Lex's lab, the second is John Henry Irons building his metal suit before taking up the mantle of Steel, the third is Superman's ship from when he was an infant flying to the north pole and creating the Fortress of Solitude with a mysterious figure dressed as Superman hovering before it, and the last being the Cyborg Superman flying towards the camera from space. Continuity mistake: As Lois is looking over Clark's desk, the camera zooms in on his press pass before cutting to a close up of it. In the close up, the large Daily Planet logo appears on it between shots. (01:15:50)

Continuity mistake: Lois walks up to Clark's desk looking over it sadly. The desk has two computer monitors on it. When it cuts to a close up, the one on the right completely vanishes. Clark's press pass suddenly appears pinned to the wall, and his chair becomes taller. Also the set of books in the right corner increase in number and size. (01:15:50)

Continuity mistake: While speaking at Superman's funeral, Lex Luthor raises his hand up towards his mic and looks to his right stating how he will miss their late night chats. During the middle of this sentence, it cuts to a side angle from the rest of the Justice League and suddenly Lex's hand is back down and he's looking to his left glancing at them. (01:12:40)

Continuity mistake: After Lex blasts Doomsday through a globe statue into some steps, and then flies over to him to smack into him some more, it shows the rubble around Doomsday. In the close up, the damage around him and amount of rubble decreases. (01:04:15)

Continuity mistake: After Doomsday defeats Wonder Woman, he looks down to see her broken sword. When he picks it up getting ready to stab her with it, it suddenly becomes much shorter when it's in his hand. (00:53:35)

Continuity mistake: Wonder Woman slams Doomsday into the road and he skids along leaving a trench. He smacks her off and into a building to the side. Her pony tail holder breaks and she turns pulling out her whip when Doomsday jumps at her. In the next shot the trench he left along the road has vanished, and the blue car that was on the left of the screen has turned white. (00:52:25)

Continuity mistake: At Bibbo's club, he gives Clark and Lois some menus and they have on the cover, the Ace O' Clubs logo on them. When Lois talks about Jimmy eating chili dogs for breakfast, the logo on her menu vanishes. (00:46:40)

Continuity mistake: At his diner, Bibbo is telling Clark and Lois a story about Superman and he has some menus tucked under his arm. In the wide shot they appears brownish red, but when it cuts to a close up it turns white and light appears on it. Also Lois has her arms down at her sides first, but then in the close up she's suddenly turned towards Bibbo with one arm on the table and the other propped up by her chin. (00:46:10)

Continuity mistake: Green Lantern traps Doomsday into a vice grip and the monster looks up at him glaring as it starts struggling to break free. It jump cuts to a different angle just before Doomsday busts out of the vice and suddenly he's looking straight forward instead of up at Green Lantern. (00:42:55)

Continuity mistake: After Clark gets the phone message from the Justice League and takes off, Cat says to Lois, "You know how men are... yeah, you're in trouble." The shot of Lois shows her mouth fully closed, but it then jump cuts to a close up and her teeth are showing. Also the amount of light on her ear changes a bit. (00:39:35)

Continuity mistake: After the scene where Doomsday kills a bear and some campers, Lois is seen walking across the street to the Daily Planet and talks to Cat. The lines on the street change between shots with the solid white line vanishing for just some dotted lines. And also cars appear on the other side of the street Lois just walked from that were not parked there in the previous shot. (00:38:00)

Continuity mistake: At the campsite, Doomsday grabs the bear and kills it, splattering blood on the girl's face. When she peaks her head out of her tent to see what happened, the amount of blood on her lessens, and the blood streaks under her eyes go from horizontal to large dots on her cheeks. (00:37:35)
