Continuity mistake: Just after Ricky has broken the assistant warden's desk and dodged a bullet fired at him, there is a shot of Ricky wiping off a small amount of blood on his face, tasting it, then clenches his fists and advances on the assistant warden. Here we can see a small droplet of blood on his stomach. But in the next shot, when he stops charging toward in the assistant warden, the blood on his stomach has vanished. (00:27:00)

Continuity mistake: Whilst the assistant warden has Ricky's hand trapped in his hook hand, there is a shot where the assistant warden slams his right hand into his hook hand to make it more painful for Ricky. Continuity mistake: When the assistant warden is punching Ricky in the face, there is initially no blood shown on his face in the profile shot. When Ricky's face is shown in a close-up, there is blood on his chin, in his mouth and running down his mouth that would have been seen in the profile shot. (00:25:22)
