Continuity mistake: When Killian is speaking with his father in the port after arriving, after his father says "Welcome to your birthplace, son", Killian readjusts the bag strap he has over his right shoulder with his left hand. In the next shot, his hand is suddenly off the strap and then goes to readjust it a second time. Then in the shot after that, his hand is off the strap completely. (00:13:17)

Continuity mistake: When Killian is at the dinner party, in the first wide shot of the table, Killian is shown sitting at his seat, holding a fork, pointed in a downwards position. Then it cuts to a shot focusing on Killian, where the fork is now being held at a sideways position. (00:26:06)

In the close-up shot of the turtle being picked up, some sand can be seen getting stuck in one of Killian's fingernails. Visible crew/equipment: When Iniko has finished driving the car into the forest so that he can take Clarence to the beach, there is a shot of Clarence looking at Iniko while he says "What are you waiting for? Get out." In this shot, the reflection of a crew member, most likely the cameraman, can be seen moving around in the wing mirror. It can't be Iniko because he is standing on the opposite end of the car. (01:15:00)

Continuity mistake: When Clarence and Iniko are standing naked on the beach after having sex, in the shot where she walks up to him, and she looks at his back, take note of her hair. The shot cuts to angle behind them, then cuts to a close-up of Iniko's back. When it cuts again, a couple strands of hair, slightly apart from the rest of her hair, can be seen going over Clarence's left shoulder that weren't there three shots prior. (01:18:12)
