Continuity mistake: When Mercer is talking with Mae in the lobby of The Circle, there are numerous people filming the conversation on their phones. One of them asks "why doesn't he just kill some more deer?" and Mercer tells him he never killed any deer. The shot then cuts back to the man filming and another woman can also be seen filming standing in the exact same direction, but when the scene is shown from another person's camera, the same woman filming has suddenly changed position. Continuity mistake: When Mercer tells Mae to look at these people, there are people seen filming them. Towards the left of shot are two people filming, with one slightly behind the other. When one of the people filming says why doesn't he just kill some more deer, that person filming is all on his own, with no-one else shown near him. (00:47:00)

Continuity mistake: When Mae is telling her parents how Annie helped get her the job, when the shot is on Mae, she is holding a glass of water with her right hand, but when the shot is on her parents, she is resting her right hand on the table. (00:23:35)
