Driven (2001)
Corrected entry: Mercedez Benz wasn't even in CART this year, and for the past few years when they were, they only won ONE Race. It doesn't make sense that they would win the driver's championship. Except if they sponsored the film, of course...
Correction: CART used Mercedes engines until 2000. Despite being released in 2001, the actual year of the film's championship is never stated. During the gala scene, an announcer says "... Magnificent extreme machines that will race us into the new millennium", indicating that the film takes place in the late 1990s or 2000.

Rocky II (1979)
Corrected entry: After leaving the gym Rocky goes to the pet shop to walk Adrienne home, and there are a few guys outside of the gym, who are taunting Rocky, calling him an Italian Chicken. After Rocky tells Adrienne that they have him confused with someone else, you can hear one of the guys say off camera, "That's Talia Shire," referring to Adrienne.
Correction: He says something very fast after his buddy says "Italian Chicken", but it is definitely not "That's Talia Shire".

Rocky V (1990)
Corrected entry: Before the start of the Cain-Gunn Heavyweight fight, we see promoter George Washington Duke announcing the fighters. He announces Union Cane's weight, but does not announce Tommy Gunn's weight. In any sanctioned boxing match, both fighters' weights (and even other statistics) are told to the audience.
Correction: Duke was already talking a lot before he announced Gunn's name. Much of what he said before his "Turbocharged..." line was drowned out in the previous shot by Rocky and Paulie talking over the TV in the basement, so it is likely that he did indeed announce Gunn's weight; we just did not hear it properly.

Correction: CART indeed never raced at the Nurburgring, but that does not mean his simulator cannot include the track for general testing purposes; it may not be a CART-specific sim.
