Corrected entry: When Deputy Hawkins enters a house, he announces that he is with the Haddensfield Sheriff's dept. and says he is officer Hawkins. As the squads state, he is actually with the Warren County Sheriff's Dept and he is a deputy.

Correction: A Sheriff's deputy is still considered a law enforcement officer. The main difference between a police officer and a deputy sheriff is that of jurisdiction. A police officer is responsible for the city he or she is currently posted at. On the other hand, a sheriff is generally responsible for the state as a whole and their jurisdiction, unlike that of a police officer extends to the whole state.
