Continuity mistake: At the start we see the purple jacketed skater stop and look at the display. The red jacketed skater stops to the left of the purple one. Camera changes to a view from inside the display and the red jacket is now to the right of the purple one. (00:02:20)

Continuity mistake: When we see the bear trap at the start of the film, there is a small amount of blood on the trap from when Hoffman was in it. Later, when it's left on show for Gideon, there is a lot more blood on the trap. The device is nowhere near any other victims for their blood to spill on to it. (00:09:35 - 00:28:40)

Continuity mistake: When Gideon is saying to the Coroner about if that bloke has a cavity he wants to know about, the body bag is open. Camera cuts to Gideon walking over to the door and the bag is done up instantly. (00:28:40)

Continuity mistake: When we see the garage trap we see that half the windscreen is smashed away and the other side has a crack through it. However in one shot, the cracks have gone. (00:19:10)

Continuity mistake: When we see Gibson looking at Jill in the interview room we see a tissue lay across Jill's bag. When he walks into the interview room the tissue is now stuck up. (00:11:00)

Continuity mistake: Saw VII takes place straight after Saw VI. In Saw VI we see Jill put Hoffman in the bear trap and leave. We then see that Hoffman spends around 45 seconds trying to get the trap off before putting in the bars on the window. In this film however, just after Jill closes the door we see the glass break. No delay. (00:08:20)
