Correction: Hair burns at a lot lower temperature than skin, so it is possible the heat blast was enough to singe the hair away but not enough to damage the skin. We also see when Luanne gets away from the mall, Hank used a fire blanket to cover her. So it could be concluded that he was able to cover enough of her not to get burned but couldn't save her hair.

Silent Hill (2006)

Corrected entry: Rose retrieves a working flashlight from the main desk of the Midwich School. After being abandoned for 30 years, the batteries in the flashlight should have already expired and hence the flashlight should not have been working.

Correction: The Silent hill in which Rose is in, is actually an alternative reality, as shown when both her and her husband are in exactly the same spot in the school but neither could see each other only sence each other. So it is not unlikely that batteries and the such act differently in an alternative reality.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ann encounters the first T-Rex, it has a dinosaur in its mouth which it is about to eat. The T-Rex would have no interest in Ann and would have no reason to chase her because it already has a bigger meal.

Correction: First off, it is a V-rex, not a T-rex, and just because it already has something to eat doesn't automatically mean it would not try to catch something else to eat as well, as there is no way of it knowing when or how its next meal may amble along.

Tango & Cash (1989)

Corrected entry: When Catherine exits the bar, she is wearing a motorcycle helmet (covering her face), and the cop makes her take it off. A second later, she is smoking a cigarette (and blowing smoke in the cop's face). Not impossible, but somewhat impractical.

Correction: But like you said, "Not impossible".

Corrected entry: The song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" once had a real-life application. On May 4, 1982, during the Falklands War, the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Sheffield was fatally struck by an anti-ship missile launched from an Argentine Air Force jet. As the crew gathered on deck for rescue, they struck up an impromptu chorus and started singing this song.

Correction: Some one singing a well known song at another time or in other circumstances can hardly be considered a piece of movie trivia.

The Robots of Death - S14-E5

Corrected entry: In episode three, after SV7 leaves Toos' quarter, we see Leela banging on the door of the lounge. Just after the scene starts, the gold statue in the foreground lights up as thought the lighting cue came in a bit late.

Correction: It could have been on a movement sensor, and the delayed reaction was due to the sensor not picking up the movement soon enough.

Scary Movie 3 (2003)

Corrected entry: When the black dude passes the shovel to the other guy, it hits Cody. But if you put that in slow motion, you will see that Cody moves his head without getting hit first.

Correction: If you have to watch it in slow motion to see it, then it is not really a valid mistake.

Corrected entry: When Augustus Gloop falls in the chocolate River, Charlie grabs a lolly and Augustus holds it. As he does this, it bends.

Correction: I am sure lots of different candy products would bend also in the same situation. Not all lollys are hard.

Scary Movie 2 (2001)

Corrected entry: Just before the three main female characters go after the caretaker and go into "Charlie's Angels" mode, the red-head is seen wearing a thong, yet after when they take off their clothes and appear in their underwear she is wearing lingerie instead.

Correction: And I suppose every other scene in the movie makes complete sense. The whole point of some of the gags are that they are disjointed and impossible, this is just a gag that serves a purpose, like much of the movie, nothing more. Only seconds later they show up in full "Charlie's Angels" gear from out of nowhere, but it isn't a mistake, just an essential gag in the plot.

Jumanji (1995)

Corrected entry: While Alan is in the bathroom washing and tidying himself up, there is a shot of the lion in the bedroom. The lion yawns, without showing his tongue. Lions always stick out, or at least expose their tongues when they yawn.

Correction: But this is hardly a real lion; it is a special "Jumanji" lion that appeared from within a board game, and who is to say it is going act in exactly the same way as a "real" lion.

Eastenders (1985)

Show generally

Corrected entry: Joe volunteered to drive the minibus for the pensioners outing but was nervous about filling in the insurance form because it asked about criminal convictions. Joe answered no as he doesn't want his new wife Pauline to find out about his criminal past. Any reputable organisation catering for vulnerable groups of people do police checks on new volunteers before they start work so Joe's criminal record would be discovered anyway.

Correction: So how is this a mistake? It is just a lapse of judgement by the character in telling a lie on a form thinking it will not be checked, which as the plot unfolds may well back fire on him as the police checks are carried out and his "lie" discovered.

King Kong (1976)

Corrected entry: A full sized, fully working Kong was made for the film but was considered so bad to look at they never even used it.

Correction: The huge mechanical King Kong, designed by Carlos Rambaldi, was used in the film, albeit for no more than a minute or so in the films final cut.
