Continuity mistake: When Cory is killed, Joe hears the sirens and puts his weapons up in the air. When the police cars come, Joe walks up to the car that parks directly behind Jimmy's Jaguar. In the shot behind Joe no policeman steps out when the cars drive up, yet, in the following shot a policeman is already standing beside the police car holding his weapon. (00:30:05)

Continuity mistake: When Joe and Milo are up on the steel structure where the stadium lights are, just before Joe throws the bag of ammo over the edge, a sniper runs to the right in the background, then in a following shot, the sniper runs to the right again. It is the same sniper. (01:31:15)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when everyone is inside the club, Liam and his girlfriend enter the seated area, and she puts her hands on the seat when she sits down, yet, in the following close up both her hands are on the side of the seat. (00:08:40)

Continuity mistake: At the end when Liam is holding a lantern in his hand, he turns to walk up to the elevator still holding the lantern, he does not put it down, and then looks in the elevator's window. When Lucy drops down from a rope, the lantern is about 3 or 4 feet away from the elevator. (01:17:25)

Continuity mistake: When Liam and his other two mates are inside there house, Liam looks at the projection screen and stands up to take the slide out of the machine. Between shots there is nothing in his right hand as he stands up, yet in the following shot he is holding a can of lager in his left hand. (00:03:15)

Continuity mistake: When Jimmy is arguing with his former colleague in the pool of the LA Stallions, in the first shot of him there are two pink balloons and a red one behind the big guy in the pool. In one particular shot there is only one pink balloon, the other balloons are on a string and are blowing in the wind, then after this shot, it goes back to being two pink balloons and a red one behind the big guy. Continuity mistake: At the beginning when Annie gets killed, she tries to climb up the window and grabs a hold of the bar at the top, when the Djinn is on the roof and looks up at Annie, her hands/arms are at a different position on the bar from the previous and following shots. (00:23:55)

Continuity mistake: In the limo chase scene on the freeway, Joe and Jimmy overtake a big truck and pull in front of it, yet in two following shots, if you look out the back of the window, the big truck has disappeared, then reappears on a wide shot. (01:17:35)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Rob/Djinn kills Becker with a plank or piece of wood, there is blood on his cheek, then in all other shots the blood has vanished. (01:15:35)

Continuity mistake: At the start of the Burly Brawl when we see Smith throw Neo through a bench, when Smith goes up to jump on him, from this point of view, the two or three steps behind the bench are nowhere to be seen, yet when Smith lands on the ground, the steps are probably less than a foot away from the bench. Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when we see the Keymaker open the door and Neo kicks Smith to make a gap, if you look where Neo is, there are two Agent Smith's behind him, they are looking towards Neo's direction and pulling there guns out, yet when the shot changes to a close up, the two Agents are facing one another and then pull there guns again. Continuity mistake: Near the middle of the film when Neo, Trinity and Morpheus are talking with the Merovingian, you see that the Merovingian is holding a glass on the table with his right hand, the glass is barely half full/half empty, yet in the following shot the glass has filled itself up a bit. Continuity mistake: Near the beginning when we see Neo walk into the room where the captains, Morpheus, Trinity, and the others are, if you look at Trinity she is standing behind Link in one shot, then he is standing behind her in another, and it is like this for several shots. (00:42:50)

Continuity mistake: In the scene just before the big 100 Agent Smith's fight, we see Neo and the Oracle talking on a bench. In one shot we see that the Oracle has her arm on the bench's back, then in the following shot we see her put her arm down by her side or on her lap, then in the following shot after this its back on the back of the bench. Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the freeway chase scene, we see the twins take aim at a gold Chevy SUV. First of all, the first head on view we see of the SUV it has it's Daytime Running Lights on, the next time we see this view they are off. Secondly, one twin shoots out the passenger window and completely shatters it, however after the scene cuts briefly back to the twin it returns to the SUV just as it begins to flip and we see the window shatter yet again. Continuity mistake: When we see Neo stop all the bullets that the Merovingian's henchmen have just fired at him, Neo proceeds to let them drop on the floor where they are clearly visible. Yet just seconds later when all the Merovingian's men come running at him the bullets have all disappeared. (01:13:35)

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the film when the 3 agents burst through the door where the captains are holding the meeting, if you notice the 3 agents enter the room and stop just after the broken door, and when the agent closest to Neo says, "only human," the other two agents are now a lot further in the room, there is no time to move forward as it is between shots this happens. Continuity mistake: Near the middle of the film when we see Morpheus and Neo have entered the Matrix in a scene that begins at a city intersection with a "Walk/Don't Walk" Traffic Sign. Just as the cross the street, Morpheus is speaking to Neo, the next shot looks over Neo's shoulder back towards the intersection, it is no longer visible, as though they have traveled farther down the block than physically possible in the time allotted. Continuity mistake: Near the middle of the film when Morpheus directs Tank to load the Jump Program note where Morpheus and Neo land on roof of building. Aerial view shows them landing some distance from the building but when the camera cuts to the first close up they are standing right next to the building. (00:51:30)

Continuity mistake: When Morpheus and Neo are fighting in the training simulation, just after Morpheus says, "You think that's air you're breathing now?" there is a pause before he prompts Neo, "Again." The shot goes to others watching on the monitors, notice Dozer looks to his left in the direction of Mouse. In the next shot the camera cuts to Cypher and Trinity (who are sitting behind Mouse) but Dozer's head is now facing the opposite direction it should be. (00:50:10)
