Seinfeld (1990)
Question: Does anybody knows why Seinfeld did not accept to make one more season of his show? I'm sure money wasn't the problem...
Answer: Seinfeld has claimed that he wanted to "go out on top". He was done with TV and wanted to venture back into stand-up comedy.
Answer: I saw an old interview with him, and he realised he was in his 40s, he didn't have a partner or kids just all this money, guess it's true what they say money can't buy happiness, I believe he just wanted a life.
Adding on to this comment, he got married in 1999. In 2014, he said, "If it wasn't for Jess and the kids, I'd really blow my brains out. Jessica saved my life. She gave me something to care about."

Question: When Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey are at the laundromat, they are playing cards. All of a sudden the old man in the background starts laughing. Then Bette and Barbara start laughing? Is this a laugh fest?
Answer: He overheard CC say that a man would never do a woman's laundry no matter how much he loved her. Which is true.
Answer: The man laughs because he is mentally challenged, and Bette and Barbara just begin to laugh at him. A bit un-PC.
Answer: First of all, it was a woman. Second, she heard CC say that men never want to do laundry not even for their woman.

The One With the Holiday Armadillo - S7-E10
Question: In the scene where Chandler and Monica are in the restaurant and she wants him to bribe the waiter he says something like "Calm down O'Malley." Who is O'Malley?
Answer: He just used the name as a joke, since she was very excited and "knowledgeable" about bribing the waiter. Somewhat of a throw-back to the old mob days in New York.
It is a reference to Grace O'Malley, an Irish pirate. Here's the story: https://www.libraryireland.com/HealyEssays/Grania4.php.

Pulp Fiction (1994)
Question: I know that in the movie you never get to know, and I've read almost every theory, but has anyone answered, once and for all, officially, what's in the briefcase?
Answer: No one will ever know. Quentin Tarantino has even said so in interviews. It's supposed to be a classic 'McGuffin' - a term spawned by Hitchcock to describe an object on which the plot hinges without being important to the outside viewers.
Answer: It's an orange light bulb.
Answer: I always assumed it was just an enormous amount of stolen cash, although the film never tells us for sure.

The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate - S1-E1
Question: In the very first episode, there is a scene in which Ross is in his apartment, talking to Joey and Chandler about his failed marriage to Carol, and is worried that there is only 'one woman' for everyone. Joey encourages him to 'grab a spoon' - to which Ross replies: 'Do you know how long it's been since I grabbed a spoon? Do the words 'Billy don't be a hero mean anything to you'? Well the words 'Billy don't be hero' mean very little to me, so I'd be grateful if somebody could fill me in on this. Thanks.
Chosen answer: It's a song released in 1974, earlier than he met Carol (1988) but he's probably exaggerating for comic effect - it's been that long since he grabbed a spoon. It also means that he is unadventurous and too scared to 'grab a spoon' and take the opprtunity. The song was about a kid in the war who wanted to be the hero and get up and fight.

Answer: He's being chased by hundreds of brides, but his friends get Renee Zellweger to meet him. He climbs up a fire escape ladder, and spots her in the crowd. She climbs to meet him, and they get married right then and there, with the priest using a megaphone to say the vows. The time reads exactly 6pm, or whatever the deadline was.
