Character mistake: Issei meets with a journalist to tell her that he has decided to end his participation in the contest to win the estate. She hands him her business card, which he immediately puts in his pocket. This completely violates the Japanese traditional business card ritual, which includes looking carefully at the card (a sign of respect).

Character mistake: When the thieves exit the depot in the armed truck, the dispatcher over the radio says that they are on "405." Everyone in LA uses the article "the" for a highway so it always is "the 405". Also, the truck is on a city street parallel to the highway, not the 405 anyway.

Character mistake: The team identifies a blue Lexus fleeing the scene of the murder, but later in the show OA says to Maggie that they've located the black Lexus.
