The four ropes around their wrists are initially tied together in one knot right above their heads. Pretty soon a horse drawn dog pound wagon rolls by, and a worker gets out to nail an impound notice four boards away from him. But when Tramp walks over to read what the notice has to say, it's now nailed six boards from where he was just a moment ago. (00:16:40)

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie in the scene where Garth is stabbing a doughnut-person with a hockey stick shaped pencil, the eraser changes from pink, when he's stabbing it, to blue, when it's standing on its own.

Continuity mistake: Early in the movie when Lloyd gets his wallet trapped in the newspaper machine, it shows his wallet, however in the very next shot his wallet is not there.
