Major League (1989)

Continuity mistake: Through the top half of the ninth, when the Yankees are batting, the scoreboard indicates the Indians have 7 hits. But in the bottom of the ninth, after the Duke comes in to pitch and Willie Mays Hayes is up, the scoreboard shows the Indians have 8 hits. The only way this would be possible is if a batter before Tomlinson's flyout got a hit and was thrown out stretching. But it's a famous error of the movie that there couldn't have been other batters in the inning for Hayes to be up when he is.

Major League (1989)

Continuity mistake: In the top of the ninth, Harris is working on a 7 hitter and gives up a double, but the inning ends after a walk and strikeout. Thus the Yankees should have 8 hits heading into the bottom of the 9th. Yet the scoreboard when Duke comes in shows the Yankees with 9 hits. This means they picked up a hit in between the half-inning, which is impossible. And the scorekeeper couldn't have changed an error from earlier in the game to a hit because the scoreboard never listed an error had been made. (01:27:20 - 01:33:30)
