Continuity mistake: When Jake is standing at his locker talking with Spud about dates for the dance, there are three books in his locker which are yellow, green and red. In the next shot they are yellow, black and blue. (00:00:50)

Continuity mistake: When Jake is sitting in the canteen eating nachos covered in chocolate sauce, on the table beside him is a bottle of chocolate sauce and a soda cup. In the next shot the sauce bottle has gone, then in the next shot it is back and the soda cup is now gone. (00:03:10)

Continuity mistake: When Haley is sitting on the couch she has a small piece of cupcake left, but as her father picks her up and puts her on his shoulders, she now has a whole cupcake missing just one bite. (00:12:30)
