Continuity mistake: When the tent D boys find the cloud in the sky, we see a shot of the cloud, the camera goes back to the boys and then back to the cloud. The problem is the cloud looks different in these two shots, even though the two shots were only seconds apart. (00:37:30)

Continuity mistake: When we hear Stanley's voice reading the letter to his mother, we see Stanley getting food in the cafeteria. In all the different shots of his tray, the food and cup differ completely. (00:26:50)

Continuity mistake: When Inman first lays down next to Sara, his (right shoulder to us) is on top of Sara's (left shoulder to us), then it shows Sara take Inman's hand, and in the next shot, their shoulders are side by side.

Continuity mistake: When Sara rests her head on Inman's chest, Inman's right hand is down by his side. The angle changes and his hand is on her shoulder.

Continuity mistake: We see Oakley on a stretcher after the battle in the crater and he is talking to Inman, and then we see him in a tent (before he dies) asking Mr. Thewes to play him "something sweet". In these two scenes, the blood and mud on Oakley changes entirely. There is no reason it should change in such a short interval.

Continuity mistake: When Ada and her father first are seen in Cold Mountain, Ada is talking to Sally and Ada's bow that ties her bonnet differs in various shots.

Continuity mistake: After Mark has been bullied, we see the bullies walk away and do their handshake, but in the very next shot (from a different angle) they do their handshake again. (00:43:35)

Tom and Kate start talking to Hank about his acting career and we see that Nora is holding her lemonade glass, but in the very next shot, the glass is on the table in front of her. (00:35:30)

Continuity mistake: When the kids are about to put Hank's underwear in the meat bucket, Henry and Jake insert cotton-ball type things in their noses. After they do this, we see that there is still a good amount of white sticking out, but in the very next shot, there is barely any white showing.
