Corrected entry: The boat on the chocolate river is actually running on rails. You can clearly see the tassels on the roof of the boat jerking as it moves and even the motion of the boat in a distant shot is that it surges forward and backward, instead of a smooth motion.

Correction: This could be Wonka's design. It sure would be easier to control by him and his crew if it's set to a rail rather than floating freely.

Tomb Raider (2001)

Corrected entry: Towards the end, time is frozen with a thrown knife in midair. Lara turns the knife around, then she lets time go to normal speed. The knife changes direction, whereas it should have kept going in the same direction, just butt-end first.

Correction: I think this can be argued. All the atoms in that knife are heading in one direction. After she turns the knife, the atoms too have turned, and therefore could keep going in the direction they were going (now back from where they came). Nevertheless, this is impossible to call a mistake unless you stop time and try it yourself.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: After Danny, Linus, and Yen have triggered the vault and the bomb goes off, Danny and Linus enter the vault and Danny throws down what appears to be a crowbar. He didn't have it in any of the shots before then, and neither did Linus. So where did that come from?

Correction: The shot cuts from one with the door closed to one where they walk through the open vault door. So there was some time in between as they opened the door for Danny to get something he was carrying. It is a lot smaller than a crowbar, but I can't identify it even frame by frame. My guess is that it's a tool to finish opening the vault door.

Jumanji (1995)

Corrected entry: When Van Pelt fires at Alan and misses, he is looking through the scope and still misses. But in the street he manages to hit the street light without aiming and holding the gun under his arm, not the best way to aim.

Correction: During the movie he needs to replace his gun as his ammo runs out. Perhaps this new gun (with the scope) is less familiar to him, causing him to miss, while the first gun he had, he's had for years, giving him time to get used to it.

Even Stevens (2000)

Correction: They are convinced that he's an alien, and that this man is out to get him, but they are still his friends and don't want to see him locked up, or hurt. Plus, they may be trying to stay on the good side of the alien if indeed that species is stronger.
