Other mistake: When Christine is shot near the end of the film, there's no blood on her dress or the Phantom's hands.
Love Never Dies (2012)
Directed by: Brett Sullivan, Simon Phillips
Starring: Ben Lewis, Simon Gleeson
Trivia: When Raoul makes an insulting comment about the Phantom in the bar, the Phantom calls him "insolent boy". When the Phantom appears to the audience for the first time in The Phantom of the Opera, "insolent boy" is his very first line in the song "The Mirror (Angel of Music)".
Trivia: The musical is loosely adapted from the novel The Phantom of Manhattan, which included plotlines that Frederick Forsyth and Andrew Lloyd Webber had discussed, but that Webber felt wouldn't translate well onto the stage.
Meg Giry: It isn't fair.
Madame Giry: We need to think.
Christine Daaé: I need some air.
Raoul: I need a drink.
Christine Daaé: Remember... Love never dies. Kiss me one last time.
Question: How is it possible, given that Erik killed him in Phantom, that Piangi is a prominent character in Love Never Dies?

Chosen answer: I can't understand how you think Piangi is in Love Never Dies, let alone is a prominent character. Piangi is not a character in the original play or the 2012 version.
