Continuity mistake: There is a scene where dozens of police cars pull up the hospital's "driveway" to surround the building. In real life they could not be coming from that direction, the "driveway" is a park road that ends at a scenic overlook with no connecting streets.

Character mistake: In the end of the film during the protest, Ray Liotta is operating on a man. At the start of the operation Ray's surgical glove is torn, exposing the thumb on his right hand as he points into the opening on the patient's chest.
Trivia: In one scene, Kiefer Sutherland wears glasses and a fishing hat. This is a tribute to his father, Donald Sutherland, who sported a similar look in M*A*S*H.
