Continuity mistake: When Adam Banks is playing in one of the games, he scores a goal and his teammates on the bench stand up and cheer when he scores. Problem is, Adam Banks is on the bench too.
The Mighty Ducks (1992)
Directed by: Stephen Herek
Starring: Emilio Estevez, Joshua Jackson, Joss Ackland, Lane Smith, Heidi Kling
Continuity mistake: In the championship game, Banks gets knocked out of the game when he is checked into the goal post. If you look at the action after he's gone, you can still see Banks in some of the action. You can't see his face, but you can see his number 99 playing in some scenes.
Continuity mistake: When Charlie is taking the penalty shot in the championship game against the Hawks, you can see his shot is low to the ground but in the very next camera shot it shows that his shot hit the top corner of the net.
Trivia: When Coach Bombay is talking to the old store owner guy while he sharpens a skate and whatnot, there is a picture of Mike Modano hanging up behind them. Modano was the Minnesota North Star's first overall pick in the 1988 entry draft. He even stayed with them when they moved to Dallas in 1993.
Trivia: When Gordon and Charlie's mom are looking at the ice sculptures, watch the people in the background near the end of the scene. Just as Charlie's mom starts to walk away, a woman in a beige hooded coat pauses, makes a circling motion in front of her face then points at the sculptures. What she's doing is saying "It's beautiful" in American Sign Language.
Gordon Bombay: Keep swingin'. Maybe you'll give them a cold.
Gordon Bombay: Did you really Quack at the Principal?
Ducks: Yeah.
Gordon Bombay: Are we Ducks or what?
Gordon Bombay: Thank you very much, Mr. Ducksworth! Quack Quack Quack Quack Quack, Mr. Ducksworth.
