Audio problem: While Uncle Joe questions Risto about throwing the bottle of acid at Vargas, when Joe slaps Risto a few times, the last slap doesn't make contact anywhere near Risto's face, but we hear a hard slap. (00:23:45)
Continuity mistake: At the start, the car with the dynamite in its trunk belongs to Rudy Linnekar, and it has Texas license plate AG-3724. Then, the car explodes. Later, while Susie and Mike are in their parked car, Schwartz pulls up in a police car with the same license plate. It's seen again when Schwartz and the others exit the parked police car at the apartment Marcia Linnekar shares with Sanchez. (00:01:20 - 00:29:00)

Tanya: You haven't got any.
Quinlan: Hmm? What do you mean?
Tanya: Your future's all used up.
Ramon Miguel 'Mike' Vargas: Susie, one of the longest borders on earth is right here between your country and mine. An open border. Fourteen hundred miles without a single machine gun in place. Yeah, I suppose that all sounds very corny to you.
Susan: I could love being corny, if my husband would only cooperate.
Vargas: This isn't the real Mexico. You know that. All border towns bring out the worst in a country. I can just imagine your mother's face if she could see our honeymoon hotel.
