Visible crew/equipment: At the start of the film, just after the war exercise, when the Sergeant begins yelling at the recruits you can see the outline of his microphone under his T-Shirt. (It's not his dog tags because you can see the shape and dog tags are not shaped like that.)
The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007)

Other mistake: When the bunch of soldiers find Dr. Paul Foster, one of them removes the doctor's wallet from the crack in his skull. In this scene, Foster's eyes are open and seem to be red. Before and after this scene, when you can see the eyes, they are clear white. The wallet has traces of blood and brain matter on it, but the blood looks too reddish. If it is some hours old, it should look darker. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: When Stump is killed, we can see him falling off the cliff with the headband on his head. However, later on the movie, Amber finds his headband in the mine.
Suggested correction: The mutants could have taken his body through the mine.
Stump: I'm not gonna let you bastards get me. Not me, not today. That is not gonna happen.
Mickey: Aw, Crank, you're taking all the fun out of the afterlife.
Crank: Shove the afterlife up your ass.
Sarge: You against the war, Doonesbury?
Napoleon: Not all wars, Sarge, I just think the president lies too much.
Sarge: All presidents lie, asshole! That's their fucking job.
Napoleon: Yes, sir.
Sarge: No president has told the truth since Truman! And you know what he said?
Napoleon: No, Sarge.
Sarge: He said that the buck stops here.
Question: At the very beginning, it says that a family got stranded in a desert. Is it referring to the Carter family from the first film?
Answer: Yes it is.
Question: Isn't the National Guard supposed to be in the US only? Then why did the sergeant talk about them being in Kandahar?
Answer: The President of the United States could have sent them there. Remember G.W. Bush sent some National Guard troops to Iraq and Afghanistan during the wars.
