Plot hole: At the end of the film Woody shows what a nice chap he is by spending the 'tainted' million dollars at a charity auction. He's just made his problems much worse - he paid his solicitor a large fee to arrange the deal, so he hasn't got a million in the bank. That cheque is going to bounce so fast it will crack the plaster on the roof of the bank, and bouncing a million dollar cheque is a serious criminal offence in the US. (There is no way enough interest could have built up to cover the difference, either).
Indecent Proposal (1993)
Directed by: Adrian Lyne
Starring: Woody Harrelson, Robert Redford, Demi Moore, Seymour Cassel
Continuity mistake: When Woody Harrelson finds the book of matches from the 'Griffon' (the boat his wife stayed on with Redford), the silver kettle in the kitchen shows a reflection of the cameraman wearing a green t-shirt.
Continuity mistake: When Gage, David, Diana, and Gage's Assistant are meeting in the room, right before Diana and Gage go off for their "agreement", Gage enters the room and is buttoning the right side of the jacket down by his pants, then in a following shot, he is buttoning the same coat button.
David: I thought we were invincible. But now I know that the things that people in love do to each other, they remember. And if they stay together, it's not because they forget. It's because they forgive.
Diana: Somethings are not for sale.
John: Such as?
Diana: Well you can't buy people.
Diana: The dress is for sale. I'm not.
