Continuity mistake: When the bus is coming to pick up Alfre Woodard as she is finally meeting her son, we see Robert Downey, Jr. briefly touch her on the shoulder. Since she's a soul, this is impossible.
Heart and Souls (1993)
Directed by: Ron Underwood
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Alfre Woodard, Charles Grodin, Kyra Sedgwick
Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning of the movie, little Thomas is in the school restroom singing with his "imaginary friends." When he comes out of the stall to wash his hands he doesn't turn on the water but just rubs them under the spout and keeps on singing.
Factual error: When Thomas is at the race track and putting a bet down, the money he's holding is newer, even though the scene takes place in the 60s.
Harrison Winslow: Who came up with this ridiculous concept anyway? Resolve your entire life in one bold stroke? What if I fail? And I will. I'll fail. I'm telling you. I always fail. Then my whole life will be a complete failure.
Thomas Reilly: No offense, Harrison. But you died a failure because you never tried.
Milo Peck: He likes to play the field. He takes after me.
Julia: A baboon in heat takes after you.
Milo Peck: Funny. You're killing me, you're really killing me. Oh yeah, I'm already dead. I forgot.
