Continuity mistake: Richard Dreyfus comes home drunk after his horrible opening night. He stumbles around the living room knocking over furniture, including a table by the window with a typewriter on top. Next time you see the table, it is all together again.

Continuity mistake: When Marsha is in the bathtub, she tells her daughter to bring her a Coke. She opens it, takes a drink and sets it on the edge of the tub, but when Richard walks in and they start talking, the Coke can is missing.
Continuity mistake: When Elliot returns to the apartment after his fight at the strip club, he is holding a steak on his black eye. He turns to face Paula but the steak has shifted to his cheek.
Paula McFadden: I thought you said you were decent.
Elliot Garfield: I am decent. I also happen to be naked.
Elliot Garfield: What is it about you that makes a man with a hundred forty-seven I.Q. feel like a dribbling idiot?
Elliot Garfield: If you were a Broadway musical, people would be humming your face.
