Continuity mistake: The white Mercedes has a sunroof in some shots, and not in others.
Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005)
Directed by: Jim Sheridan
Starring: Joy Bryant, 50 Cent, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Omar Benson Miller
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Marcus comes to the aid of his crew and pulls out a gun to back the Puerto Ricans off, a female production crew member, in the background, can be seen walking into frame. More specifically, in the shot where the Puerto Rican is backing up, the female production crew member comes into frame, looks at the camera and nonchelantly backs up out of the shot.
Factual error: In the movie, Marcus is out of high school, probably in his late teens, early 20's. Going by 50 cent's age, this would probably put the movie back in the mid 90's. When he flashes back, he's younger, put it in the late 80's. Well, in one sequence when he's young, he's playing with friends and has on red and white low Air Jordan 2's on. These were not made in this color until 2004. Same in another sequence when he's talking to Majestic while eating fast food, he's wearing some white and green Air Jordan 4's, which also didn't come out til 2004, which in fact is when the movie was filmed.
Trivia: Viola Davis plays 50 Cent's grandmother in the movie, even though in real life she's only 10 years older than him.
Marcus: Come on, say that again, come on get in the car.
Bama: Its like when I'm right I'm right, when I'm wrong I could been right, so I'm still right cause I coulda been wrong, you know, and I'm sorry cause I could be wrong right now, I could be wrong, but if I'm right.
Marcus: Show no love. Love will get you killed.
Marcus: Crack meant money, money meant power and power meant war. We shot the Colombians, the Colombians shot us.
