Revealing mistake: Throughout the extended scene where Ralph was training with Father Hibbert in pouring-down rain, both characters' faces were completely dry when they should have been completely wet.
Saint Ralph (2004)
Directed by: Michael McGowan
Starring: Jennifer Tilly, Campbell Scott, Adam Butcher, Gordon Pinsent, Tamara Hope, Michael Kanev
Factual error: At the end of the movie, after losing the 1954 Boston marathon, Father Hibbert asks Ralph what his running plans are for the future. Ralph replies that the Olympics are next year and he plans on winning them. The next Olympics were in 1956, not 1955.
Ralph Walker: Father Hibbert.
Father George Hibbert: What is it Mr. Walker?
Ralph Walker: Producing a miracle is possible?
Father George Hibbert: Like flying to the moon is possible, but it's never going to happen.
Ralph Walker: Claire has decided to put up the Great Wall of China Defense on me. But I'm positive this whole nun thing is basically a way of denying her true feelings... understandably.
Claire Collins: Why don't you try rubbing your knees with sandpaper until they bleed, and then kneeling down in a pan of alcohol to pray.
Ralph Walker: What grit sandpaper?
