Revealing mistake: In the scene where Cathy goes to Wuthering Heights to beg Heathcliff not to marry Isabella, she goes out the door and in the shot you can see they have not put up the photograph that represents outdoors. Instead there is just a wall and two cables hanging down.
Wuthering Heights (1939)
Directed by: William Wyler
Starring: Laurence Olivier, David Niven, Flora Robson, Merle Oberon
Continuity mistake: Cathy and Heathcliff run away from two dogs as they spy on the party and Heathcliff helps her up the wall. In the next shot he is already on the wall and jumps down.
Continuity mistake: When she enters the room and then turns around, Cathy's muff disappears between angles.
Heathcliff: I cannot live without my life! I cannot die without my soul.
Heathcliff: Why are your eyes always empty? Like Linton's eyes.
Isabella: They're not empty, if you'd only look deeper. Look at me. I'm pretty. I'm a woman and I love you. You're all of life to me. Let me be a single breath of it for you.
Dr. Kenneth: Ask your husband to call another doctor in future. Whoever dwells in this house is beyond my healing arts.
