Continuity mistake: During the spectacular car chase David Caruso's car is speeding through the streets jumping 10'-15' feet in the air. On one of the landings in a wide shot, you can see that an air bag deploys, but in the next close up of him in the car, it's not there.
Jade (1995)
Directed by: William Friedkin
Starring: Richard Crenna, Michael Biehn, Chazz Palminteri, Linda Fiorentino, David Caruso
Audio problem: When the other prostitute is run down, in the ensuing crowd chaos you hear a man scream 'Hey you jerk,' or words to that effect. Several seconds later you hear the same shout again, the exact phrase, the exact tone, the same recording.
Continuity mistake: When the Thunderbird rams David Caruso into the water, Caruso's Taurus is an older model than the one he was driving through the entire chase.
Trina Gavin: People who commit these acts are in many ways, no different from you and me. But, they are no longer able to control their urges. They disassociate themselves from their own actions also experiencing an hysterical blindness. They're blind to the darkness within themselves.
Lew Edwards: I do the fucking, I never get fucked.
David Corelli: Cristal, Baluga, Wolfgang Puck... it's a fuckhouse.
Question: I've heard this movie contains subliminal images and messages. Is this true and if it is, what are they?

Answer: It is true. The director spliced in a few frames of later scenes in the film throughout the film to "help" the viewer figure out the ending. These frames went by so quickly, the viewers couldn't really see them, but the director thought that maybe the subconscious mind would pick up on these clues.
