Continuity mistake: Henry takes off the wrong shoe/sock to dry off.
Eraserhead (1977)
Directed by: David Lynch
Starring: Charlotte Stewart, Jack Nance, Jeanne Bates, Allen Joseph
Continuity mistake: The kid holding Eraserhead's head is wearing glasses, yet he had not been wearing glasses prior to that. He is only wearing glasses when he is not facing the camera, but the camera is just to his right so you can see the right frame and lense. Once he turns to go into the pencil room to have the brain examined, he is no longer wearing the glasses. (01:09:35)
Trivia: David Lynch has never explained how the disturbing "baby" was created for the film, even coyly suggesting at one point that it was something he found that had been "born nearby." A popular theory is that the baby is actually an animal fetus that had been hollowed out and made into a puppet, but this has never been confirmed.
Trivia: This movie has no dialogue for the first 10 minutes.
The Boss: Counter, paul.
Mr. X: Mary usually does the carving but tonight since you are our guest, you could do it, Henry.
Henry Spencer: Of course. I'd be glad to. So I just, uh... I just cut them up like regular chickens?
Mr. X: Sure, just cut them up like regular chickens.
Mary X: You wouldn't mind marrying me, would you Henry?
Henry Spencer: Well... No.
