Continuity mistake: When Ana hands over the file to Cora, Cora grabs the file on the side. When it cuts she grabs it on the top of the file. (00:01:20)
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Directed by: Zack Snyder
Starring: Ving Rhames, Mekhi Phifer, Sarah Polley, Jake Weber
Factual error: When the survivors are first in the mall, you can see a store called Roots with a Canadian beaver logo. While the movie was filmed in Canada, it is supposed to take place in the USA where Roots has a different logo. (00:17:05)
Factual error: When they are eating, there's a box of chicken labelled PFK (Poulet Frit a la Kentucky), the French equivalent of KFC. This film takes place in the USA, but was filmed in Canada where most products are labelled in English and French.
Trivia: The sheriff in the movie was Tom Savini, who did the makeup and special effects in the 1978 version and also had a cameo as a biker in the '78 version. (00:25:35)
Trivia: Stay for the duration of the credits. The movie doesn't end with them sailing away. There is a continuation in the credits.
CJ: What are you, a fucking doctor?
Ana: No, I'm a fucking nurse.
Michael: So what's the plan?
C.J: The plan is you drink a nice tall glass of shut the fuck up!
Question: I noticed on Andy's final moments video on the DVD, the month on the camera goes from May(When he explains the Hollywood Squares game.) To June when he finally turns to a zombie. Was the movie supposed to take place in a month or is that just a simple mistake?
Question: Was it ever explained why the zombies massed outside the mall?
Answer: It was actually explained in both versions that the zombies went to the mall because it was a place of familiarity, a place that they could remember even if they didn't know why.
Question: In the opening scene, why was Luis not particularly bothered by the sudden appearance of a neighbor child in their house standing at the entrance to their bedroom? He reacts to her initially as though she were an overnight guest who had been sleeping down the hall and not as someone who doesn't live there.
Answer: Since it's not addressed in the script or the film, any answer would be speculation. One could be that Luis is just a generally laid back person, and the appearance of a young child he knows is not enough to ruffle his feathers, even if she isn't supposed to be there. He also just woke up, so he could be a bit groggy and not fully processing the situation as quickly as he might normally. More likely, it's simply the way the scene was filmed; the director and actor didn't think it important to show Luis "bothered" by the girl's presence (prior to noticing the blood, of course).
Answer: He also likely knew her since Anna had a conversation with the kid earlier about "say hi to your mom for me'.

Answer: Yes, part of the point of Andy's video is to give the viewer the timespan of the film.
