Other mistake: When the nanny comes home with the tags, they call Jewel to get hers first. Jewel has a penis.
101 Dalmatians (1996)
Directed by: Stephen Herek
Starring: Jeff Daniels, Glenn Close, Hugh Laurie, Joely Richardson, Joan Plowright, Tim McInnerny
Continuity mistake: Shortly after Jasper & Horace steal the puppies, a blue Renault 4 is seen going past the entrance to the mews. About 3 seconds later it goes past again in the same direction.
Continuity mistake: When the puppies are watching the television, you can see that they are watching Homeward Bound. The three animals are standing on the hill, about to head home. A few minutes later, when the nanny comes inside, we see the TV again and Shadow is with Peter. This happens at least 10 minutes after the animals are on the hill.
Trivia: When Cruella gets angry after offering the couple £7000 for the puppies and they refuse the offer, she storms out of their house and heads for the car. She then hits one of the two stooges and as she goes to get in the car you can clearly hear her say the word "fu*k".
Trivia: To get the dogs to lick the humans, they had steak juice daubed on their skin.
Trivia: The Ariostocats can be seen when the dalmatians are watching TV.
Cruella De Vil: My faith in your limited intelligence is momentarily restored.
Horace: You know, this house is creepy. I'm starving hungry, and so far we haven't been paid one bloody quid.
Jasper: Oh, will you stop moaning?
Cruella De Vil: And you must be Rufus.
Question: How much would it have cost to feed all those puppies for a week?
Answer: A 2 month old Dalmatian should be fed around 250g of food 3 times a day that's 750g a day. 101 dogs 8.250kg a day. Times that by 7 days is 57.75kg of food a week. At an average cost of £40 (online search) for 12kg of food you would need 5 bags a week. 5×£40 = £200 a week just on food for 101 Dalmatians.

Answer: It was typical for marriages to be announced in the print newspapers, just like births and deaths. They are public notices.
