Revealing mistake: In the early part of the chase scene, when the person hanging the banner swings into the pane of glass, you can actually see it start to shatter before he touches it.
What's Up, Doc? (1972)
Directed by: Peter Bogdanovich
Starring: Barbra Streisand, Ryan O'Neal, Madeline Kahn, Kenneth Mars
Revealing mistake: When the Chinese dragon is knocking over the trash cans you can see they are all perched at an angle on the curb to facilitate being kicked over.
Continuity mistake: At the airport Howard stands in front of a departure sign that says local time is 11:08, yet just a few minutes later Eunice tells Mr. Larabee that it's 12:05.
Trivia: In addition to Ryan O'Neal appearing in this film we also see his brother Kevin O'Neal (delivery boy), and his mother Patricia O'Neal (woman on plane).
Trivia: Much of Hugh Simon's dialogue was ad-libbed by Kenneth Mars.
Hugh: I find that as difficult to swallow as this potage au gelee.
Judy: How would you like to swallow one sandwich d'knuckles?
Judge Maxwell: You see this yellow pill?
Bailiff: Yes sir.
Judge Maxwell: You know what it's for?
Bailiff: What, Judge?
Judge Maxwell: To remind me to take this blue pill.
Bailiff: What's the blue one for, Judge?
Judge Maxwell: I don't know. They're afraid to tell me.
Eunice: I'm not looking for romance, Howard.
Howard: Oh?
Eunice: No, I'm looking for something more important than that, something stronger. As the years go by, romance fades and something else takes its place. Do you know what that is?
Howard: Senility?
Eunice: Trust.
Howard: That's what I meant.
