Continuity mistake: When Colm Meaney and Colin Farrell have the shoot-out right at the end, the material filmed changes between then and when the director is viewing it at the end. First, Farrell shoots Meaney, then the camera goes to white and two more gun-shots go off. Then, when he is watching it later, Farrell pulls the gun from his pocket and the director shoots him straight away. Then when he rewinds it, it shows Colin Farrell pull his gun, the camera man look to the bonnett of the car where the gun is, then bring it up and shoot him.
Intermission (2003)
Directed by: John Crowley
Starring: Colin Farrell, Kerry Condon, Emma Bolger, Johnny Thompson
Continuity mistake: When Colin Farrell is in the bar, talking to the driver who lost his job, the amount of beer in the glass changes from one shot to the next.
Factual error: As the bus crashes, the destinations spewed out from the destination panel are towns from Devon (England). These include: Newton Abbot, Paignton zoo and Torquay. (00:25:10)
Trivia: Colin Farrell recorded a version of The Clash's "I Fought the Law..." for the film.
Jerry Lynch: You just don't have the requisite Celtic soul, man.
John: Those are the actions, and I have no qualms about saying it, of a whore.
Deirdre: Get Out! Get Out.
Mr. Henderson: ...I will TCB, as they say in the States. I will "take care of business."
Question: What were the characters pouring into their drinks, and what were they pouring it into. I'm American, so I've never heard the term "brown sauce" before. I couldn't tell if it was chocolate syrup or like a steak sauce, or if they were putting it in their tea or coffee.

Answer: There is a condiment used in the UK that is actually called "Brown Sauce" It is used by many instead of Ketchup. It is slightly spicy and very nice on a bacon sandwich. They put it in their coffee for some reason.
