Continuity mistake: When Katharine Hepburn carries the white carnations out of the elevator (which have just been given to her by Gig Young), they turn pink when she steps off the elevator and walks outside.

Continuity mistake: When Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy are on the roof eating lunch, she opens and eats her sandwich over and over again.

Revealing mistake: In the opening shot of the film, at Rockefeller Center, the shot begins at ground level and tilts up the building, but it was shot from the top of the building down to ground level and then reversed - all the people on the ground are walking backwards.

Mr. Azae: You don't care whether you impress people or not, do you?
Richard Sumner: You wait until you get my bill. You'll be impressed.

Bunny Watson: I don't smoke, I only drink champagne when I'm lucky enough to get it, my hair is naturally natural, I live alone... and so do you.
Richard Sumner: How do you know that?
Bunny Watson: Because you're wearing one brown sock and one black sock.
