Continuity mistake: There is a scene when they are all in the press room when he's inside the desk. As Hildy goes to get water you can see she's wearing the black heels she's been wearing throughout the movie. In the next shot as she walks behind the table, if you look through the table legs you can see she's wearing a pair of flat white slippers/loafers.

Continuity mistake: While eating lunch with Walter, the front angle of Hildy shows her hands down. The rear angle shows her hand on her cheek.
Continuity mistake: When Hildy returns to the press room after taking Molly Malloy out, the wide shot shows her opening the door all the way. Then the close up shows her doing this again.
Trivia: When trying to describe Bruce to a friend Grant says "He looks like, uhh, that fella in the movies, Ralph Bellamy." Bruce was in fact played by Ralph Bellamy.
Trivia: Cary Grant refers to another character as a "mock turtle." Grant played the Mock Turtle in a 1930s film version of "Alice in Wonderland."
Trivia: When Cary Grant and his ex wife are being arrested, Cary says "That's what Archie Leach said before he cut his throat." Grant liked to add Archie's names in his movies. That was Grant's real name.
Hildy Johnson: Walter.
Walter Burns: What?
Hildy Johnson: The mayor's first wife, what was her name?
Walter Burns: You mean the one with the wart on her?
Hildy Johnson: Right.
Walter Burns: Fanny.
Walter Burns: Hey, Duffy, listen. Is there any way we can stop the 4:00 train to Albany from leaving town?
Duffy - Copy Editor: We might dynamite it.
Walter Burns: Could we?
Wilson, reporter: Any dope on how he escaped?
McCue, reporter: Maybe the sheriff let him out so Williams could vote for him.
