Continuity mistake: In the scene where Hector is talkin to Samantha and Regina in the radio station, just after they met, Hector is taking off his gloves. Then they switch over to the girls and when they switch back to Hector, his gloves are back on and he starts taking them off again.
Night of the Comet (1984)
Directed by: Thom E. Eberhardt, Thom Eberhardt
Starring: Robert Beltran, Catherine Mary Stewart, Kelli Maroney, Sharon Farrell
Continuity mistake: When Regina comes home the morning after the comet, there's nothing at the base of the stairs. As Regina takes Samantha outside to see that everyone is dust, Samantha finds the remains of their dog at the base of the stairs.
Factual error: In the scene with Tempest (the video game in the cinema's foyer), Regina is annoyed to find the tag 'DMK' shown in the scoreboard, which she otherwise dominates, and she sets out to remove it. After completing a game which scores higher than 'DMK', she overwrites his name on the scoreboard and her name is both above and below. If this had been a real video game, his score wouldn't have been removed from the list, it would have just dropped down one place. She would have needed to play several games, bettering the 'DMK' score every time in order to own the board again. She would just keep knocking DMK down the list, she could only overwrite the last place.
Samantha Belmont: So did you make it with him last night?
Regina Belmont: Who?
Samantha Belmont: The Good Humor man, who do you think?
Regina Belmont: Geez, is that what's bugging you?
Samantha Belmont: That's no answer, man.
Regina Belmont: No I didn't make it with him last night. Why are you so weirded out?
Samantha Belmont: Oh right Reg, why should I be weirded out? My sister, who swiped every guy I ever had my eye on, has now swiped the last guy in the whole freaked out world.
Regina Belmont: Do you have your MasterCard on you?
Samantha Belmont: No.
Regina Belmont: Good, because you don't need it. THE stores ARE open.
Dr. Carter: Are you pregnant?
Regina Belmont: No. Thought I was once.
Dr. Carter: That's not important.
Regina Belmont: Longest three weeks of my life.
