Revealing mistake: When the kids are burying Gus, his supposedly dead face flinches when they shovel dirt on him.
Pet Sematary II (1992)
Directed by: Mary Lambert
Starring: Clancy Brown, Anthony Edwards, Edward Furlong, Jared Rushton
Continuity mistake: Right after the bully has been killed by the motorcycle, in the wide shot, everything from his forehead to his chest is a totally mangled, disgusting mess. A little while later, though, in the close-up, his face, although bloody, is completely intact and recognisable.
Continuity mistake: When Gus goes back to Clyde's dead body, he rolls him in the body bag and you see Clyde's one eye shut. But when he zippers up the bag Clyde's eye is open.
Trivia: Originally Stephen King's name was included with the opening credits; but after seeing a rough cut of the film, he hated it so much he demanded that his name by taken off the film, and all advertisements.
Trivia: Towards the beginning of the movie when Drew is told to take Zowie the dog outside of Gus' house, there is a cross (crucifix) hanging on the wall to the right of the front door. Towards the end of the movie when the Vet comes to Gus' house, is attacked by Zowie, he enters Gus' house. Notice the cross is now hanging upside down, I'm sure to indicate evil is now resident there (although Gus was pretty much an evil bastard even when he was alive).
Gus Gilbert: You bury your own.
Drew Gilbert: Come on Clyde, just tell him where the cat is.
Clyde Parker: I all ready told where the cat is, now shut UP dick WAD... What? You gonna sic big bad old Gus on me?
Gus Gilbert: No Brain, no pain... think about it.
