Character mistake: Mrs. Reynolds, the housekeeper at Pemberley, refers to Mr. Darcy's late mother as Mrs. Darcy while showing Elizabeth and her aunt and uncle the house. This is a grave mistake on the part of the filmmakers as she should have been referred to as Lady Anne, the way her sister is known as Lady Catherine. Their father was an Earl, making them Ladies by birth, not by marriage. Hence, they must be called Lady followed by their first name.

Pride and Prejudice (1995)
Starring: Colin Firth, Jennifer Ehle, Julia Sawalha, Susannah Harker
Episode #1.6 - S1-E6
Visible crew/equipment: When Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Lizzie are by the carriage (right after Lady Catherine de Bourgh questions whether Lizzie is engaged to Mr. Darcy), there's a camera or some sort of device visible. (00:36:40)
Continuity mistake: During the Ball scene at Netherfield, right before one of the dances, a shot of Lizzy reveals Jane in the background moving in slow motion.
Trivia: The actress playing Jane, Susannah Harker, was quite heavily pregnant during the filming of the movie. This can be seen quite obviously in some scenes.
Trivia: Jennifer Ehle who played Lizzie is blonde - she knew Lizzie was to be brunette, so she dyed her eyebrows the night before the dressed audition to give her a better chance of suiting the part. (This is confirmed in the 'making of' book).
Trivia: The exterior shots of Pemberley were filmed outside Lyme Park, in Cheshire.
Mr. Bennet: For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbours, and laugh at them in our turn?
Mrs. Bennet: You don't know what I suffer.
Mary Bennet: It behooves us all, to take very careful thought before pronouncing an adverse judgment on any of our fellow men.
