Revealing mistake: In the scene where King Arthur expounds on the joy of his kingdom, he has a Band-Aid on the back of his neck. (00:21:00)
Camelot (1967)
Directed by: Joshua Logan
Starring: Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave, David Hemmings, Franco Nero
Continuity mistake: There is a scene when King Arthur is just starting the Round Table. All the knights are gathered and bow on their knees to Arthur and King Pelinor who ceremoniously holds the sword Excalibur. But King Pelinor doesn't arrive in Camelot until after the following scene (which is May Day). (00:37:00)
Continuity mistake: The garden on the left side of the road to the Camelot castle changes in height, dramatically, from scene to scene. When Lancelot first encounters Arthur the garden is freshly harvested and cut. Later, the garden is lush and green.
King Arthur: I can't quite remember all that Merlyn taught me, but I do remember this. That happiness is a virtue. No one can be happy and wicked. Triumphant, perhaps, but not happy.
King Arthur as a Boy: What's the best thing for being sad?
Merlyn: The best thing for being sad is to learn something.
King Arthur: Proposition. It is far better to be alive than dead.
