Continuity mistake: The zombie baby keeps changing size throughout the movie.
Factual error: As the Thug Zombie is on top of the lawnmower and is getting hacked to bits, his body parts don't fly off. His arms would've gone everywhere when the blade reached his shoulders, and the same goes for his head. (01:29:15)
Trivia: Director Peter Jackson makes a cameo appearance as the Mortuary Director's Assistant when Lionel's mom is being filled with embalming fluid. Whilst the fluid gushes out of Mum, Jackson grabs the sandwich he left beside the corpse and takes a bite. Doesn't he look odd without his beard?
Trivia: This movie is actually known by two names. In the UK it is named "Braindead", in the US it is named "Dead-Alive".
Trivia: Just something to notice about Peter Jacksons cameo: He eats the sandwich and it's covered with embalming fluid. Gross point in a gross, yet pretty cool, movie.
