Revealing mistake: As Reg fights with one of the baddies with the chainsaws, as the baddie take a swing with the chainsaw he misses and cuts into the wooden door. You can clearly see that a vertical cut has already been made in the wood though, to help the chainsaw get in and cut. (01:17:55)

Continuity mistake: When Reg and Mike jump out of the bedroom window to escape from the dwarfs, in a wide-shot the white window framing on the sides of the window is broken off. Trivia: The only entry in the series not to feature A. Michael Baldwin as "Mike." He played Mike in the first, third, fourth and fifth film. Instead, the character is played by James Le Gros in this film. Brad Pitt also reportedly auditioned for the role.

Trivia: Star Reggie Bannister had actually quit acting after the first "Phantasm." He officially came out of retirement when the sequel was announced, as has appeared in over fifty roles since.
