Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when all the women are dressed up after making clothes out of tablecloths, you can see the Italian woman riding in the front of the wagon. The shot changes and she's riding on the side looking at all the men and smiling. The shot changes again and she's back to the front.

Revealing mistake: After the Indians have attacked the wagon train Robert Taylor returns to see the devastation. When they call out the names of the dead we see a close up of each person and some of the "dead" are breathing.
Revealing mistake: During the thunderstorm, Danon's and Laurie's wagon falls over. As the women are removing Laurie's dead body from the bottom of the wagon, she grabs the arms of two of the women pulling her out.
