Continuity mistake: Bob Hope asks to take a peek at the execution chamber. He peeps from the hole, nudging away the lid with his forehead, and turns away. The lid came to a complete stop, but in the next shot when Ronnie walks away here's the lid swaying again as if he had moved his head from the window just that moment. (00:02:25)
